Aim & Scope

The primary aim of the journal is to dispense a platform for students, scholars, researchers, professionals, and industrialists to share their findings and research contribution in an open-access manner. IJAHR focuses on the enhancement of knowledge and sharing it among all worldwide. The published content in the form of papers will extend the knowledge of the current researchers and motivate the beginners in the diversified fields of Ayurveda and other allied systems of Medicine and Health (Unani, Siddha, Yoga, Naturopathy, Medical, Dental, Nursing, Homeopathy, Agriculture, Botany, Zoology) along with pharmaceutical sciences. IJAHR is abided to publish only high-quality research papers of different categories original Research articles, review articles, survey articles, case studies, technical notes, and short communication. The IJAHR is determined to accept the research outputs on the current topics having high social implications internationally.

Scope of IJAHR

IJAHR is an interdisciplinary refereed journal intended for the publication of original research articles in the field of Ayurveda and other allied systems of Medicine and Health (Unani, Siddha, Yoga, Naturopathy, Medical, Dental, Nursing, Homeopathy, Agriculture, Botany, Zoology) along with Pharmaceutical Sciences. IJAHR aims to reach a level of predictive capability that firmly complements the traditional pillars of experimentation and theory. Ayurveda

Ayurved samhita & siddhanta (ayurvedic compendia & basic principles), rachana sharir (anatomy), kriya sharir (physiology), dravyaguna vigyan (materia medica & pharmacology), rasashastra (ayurvedic metals & minerals/iatrochemistry) bhaishajya kalpana (pharmaceuticals science), agadtantra & vidhi vaidyaka (toxicology & forensic medicine), svasthavritta (preventive, social medicine & yoga), roganidana & vikriti vigyan (pathology & diagnostic procedure), kayachikitsa (general medicine), manovigyan & manasroga (psychiatry), rasayan & vajikaran (rejuvenation & aphrodisia), panchakarma (five bio-cleansing procedures), prasuti & stri roga (gynecology & obstetrics), kaumarbhritya-balaroga (pediatrics), shalyatantra (general surgery), shalakyatantra (otorhinolaryngology/ent & ophthalmology).

Articles on above the subjects using current scientific knowledge viz., ethnobotany, phytochemistry, drug standardization, quality control, good laboratory practices (glp), pharmacology, preclinical research, clinical research, good clinical practices (gcp), pharmacovigilance.

Studies on Literary, Basic and Fundamental research, Preventive and Promotive Healthcare, Local Health Traditions, etc. which provide the leads to the original research are also acceptable.

Pharmaceutical Sciences

Studies on herbal/natural products in the area of pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy and phytochemistry, drug delivery systems, pharmacology, pharmaceutical analysis, herbal/ayurvedic pharmacy practice, bioinformatics and pharmaceutical biosciences. evaluation of the herbal, animal, mineral and metallic drugs and formulations and other drug materials, ethnobotanical and ethnomedicine.

Yoga

History philosophy & principles of yoga, anatomy & physiology of yoga, loosening exercise, yoga asana, yogic breathing, yogic relaxations and meditation, ashtanga yoga, mudras and bandhas in yoga, yoga shatkarma, yoga therapy, yoga and cultural synthesis, yoga sadhana, personality development by yoga, yogic management of stress for executives, yoga and rehabilitation.

Articles based on the ayurvedic principles with proper justification from the present medical literature and authors' views and comments will be considered for publication. it also accepts standard review articles based on AYUSH, newly introduced diseases with their updated scientific knowledge in contemporary sciences.

Case studies and case series of very special cases and their treatments based on the ayurvedic principles or cases with specialized treatments based on the classical literature only will be considered. routine cases and routine treatments and their results, without any specific parameters, or case reports using the patented medicines are not considered for publication.
